The 5140182-85 Valve Replacement Kit is designed for DeWalt pressure washers equipped with AAA high-pressure water pumps, specifically for models with 3800 PSI or higher. This valve repair kit is compatible with several DeWalt pressure washers, including the DXPW3835-CA, DPW3835-CA, DXPW4035, DXPW4035-CA, and DXPW4240-CA, all featuring the AAA high-pressure pump. It also fits DeWalt high-pressure triplex plunger water pumps, including the DeWalt 5140206-95 Triplex Plunger Washer C-41 Pump and the DeWalt 5140182-89 3800 PSI AAA Pump. The kit includes replacement valves with approximate dimensions of a metal base with an outside diameter of .610 inches and a height to the shoulder of .675 inches, including the metal seat. NOTE: When servicing, it is recommended to follow the included instructions to ensure proper installation and performance of the replacement valves. First make sure you have the old valves completely removed: Cage, spring, disc, and "most importantly" the seat with O-ring. After complete removal of the old valve , grease the O-ring on each of the new valves. Using a small socked*, that fits over the nipple that stick out of the top of the valve cage and rests on the shoulder of the valve cage, push each valve gently into the valve cavity until you feel it seat. *Typically, a 1/4 drive, deep well socket will work for this installation application.
