Operating Instructions Step 1 Clean the valve caps and their sockets of any debris. Step 2 Take out the old discharge valves with a pair of pliers. Use a pick to take out the o-rings. Step 3 Clean or replace the oil rings and press them flat in the bottom of the pump. Step 4 Place and press down the new valves to securely on top of the o-rings.
